2026年1月16日、リーガロイヤルホテル「山楽の間」にて新年パーティを開催し、127名の皆様にご参加いただきました。

 

冒頭では、素晴らしい歌声のシンガーによる日米両国国歌の斉唱を行い、続いて大阪日米協会 嘉納会長、在大阪・神戸米国総領事館 総領事 リチャード・N・ラーセン様よりご挨拶を賜りました。

恒例の鏡開きは、嘉納会長、ラーセン総領事、政府代表／特命全権大使（関西担当）三澤 康様、ならびに西尾第一副会長の4名により執り行われ、乾杯のご発声を三澤大使より頂戴いたしました。

歓談の時間には、Jazz Bandによる華やかな演奏が会場を彩り、日米の食材を使用したお料理とともに、和やかで心温まるひとときをお楽しみいただきました。

また、会員の皆様よりご提供いただいたご協賛品により、豪華景品が当たる抽選会や福袋をお配りすることができました。

 

ご参加ならびに多大なるご協力を賜りましたすべての皆様に心より御礼申し上げますとともに、本年一年のJASO関係者の皆様のご多幸を祈念申し上げます。

 

 

 

On January 16, 2026, the New Year’s Party was held at the Sanraku-no-Ma banquet hall of the Rihga Royal Hotel, with 127 guests in attendance.

 

The event opened with the singing of the national anthems of Japan and the United States, beautifully performed by a singer with a wonderful voice.

This was followed by opening remarks from Mr. Shuichi Kanoh, President of the Japan-America Society of Osaka, and Mr. Richard N. Larsen, Consul General of the U.S. Consulate General Osaka-Kobe.

The traditional kagami-biraki ceremony was conducted by four distinguished guests: President Kanoh, Consul General Larsen, Mr. Yasushi Misawa, Representative of the Government of Japan / Ambassador in charge of Kansai, and First Vice President Mr. Nishio. Ambassador Misawa then led the toast.

During the reception, the venue was enlivened by elegant performances from a jazz band. Guests enjoyed a warm and friendly atmosphere while savoring dishes from both Japan and the United States.

Thanks to the generous contributions from our members, we were also able to hold a raffle featuring wonderful prizes and distribute lucky bags to our guests.

 

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended and supported this event, and we wish all JASO members and related parties continued happiness and success throughout the year.
