拝啓 時下ますますご清祥の段、お慶び申し上げます。
平素は協会運営に際し、格別のご高配を賜り厚く御礼申し上げます。
さて、長引く新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大では変異株が猛威を振るいワクチン接種を順次進めて頂いている中、多くの皆様におかれましては、日々大変なご苦労、ご努力をされておりますことと存じます。つきましては、現在の状況を鑑み、今年度の総会・懇親会は行わず、総会会則第１６条に則り理事会のみ執り行います。
尚、会員の皆様には２０２１年８月発送予定の年次報告書にて内容をご確認していただきたく宜しくお願い申し上げます。
昨年に続き、今年度も総会・懇親会が開催できずに誠に心苦しいところではありますが、感染拡大防止の観点から皆様のご理解・ご協力を賜りますよう何卒宜しくお願い申し上げます。

2021 Directors’ Meeting, General Meeting and Social Gathering
We hope this letter finds you well. Thank you very much for your continued support of JASO.
Considering the current situation that many people are struggling to deal with the spread of Covid-19 and the new variants, we decided not to hold the General meeting and Social gathering but only to hold the Directors’ meeting in accordance with Article 16 of the General meeting rules this year. Therefore, we would like you to confirm the contents in the annual report which will be planned to be distributed in August, 2021.
We are sorry for not holding the General meeting and Social gathering due to the pandemic likewise as last year. We thank you all for your kind understanding and cooperation.
1.Directors’ meeting: hybrid style using online meeting system
※Please attend it by hybrid style in principle.
Date: Wednesday, July 21st 2021 from 5:00 p.m.
Place: Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka ( as the base for the online meeting )
※We will send more details of the Directors’ meeting to the members concerned.
2. General meeting and Social gathering: cancelled
※We will send the annual report to all the members in August, 2021 for the confirmation.
3.Others: The annual reports
(including Resolution of General meeting, News Letter, member list, the notice of executive office of next year, bills etc.) will be sent in August, 2021.
※Please note that general members cannot attend the Director’s meeting.

平素は格別のご高配を賜り、厚く御礼申し上げます。
さて、例年JRA阪神競馬場様のご厚意により、米国アーリントン競馬場との提携を記念し開催される「アーリントンカップ」を特別貴賓室から観戦いただいておりましたが、コロナ禍の影響により本年も贈呈式の中止が決定し、特別貴賓室の使用に関しても未だ見通しが立たない状況にございます。つきましては、誠に残念ながら昨年に続き「アーリントンカップ」観戦のイベントを中止とさせていただくことになりました。
ご観戦を楽しみにしてくださっていた皆様には、誠に残念なお知らせとなりますが、何卒ご理解のほどお願い申し上げます。もうしばらく厳しい状況は続くと思われますが、皆様のご健康を心よりお祈り申し上げます。

なお、観戦イベントに関しては中止となりましたが「アーリントンカップ」は4月17日(土)開催予定となっております。

Cancellation of Spectating of Arlington Cup Horse Race
We hope this message finds you well. We are very grateful to you for your continued support of JASO.
We herewith inform you that we have decided to cancel “Spectating of Arlington Cup Horse Race”. Every year, thanks to the kindness of JRA Hanshin Racecourse, the event is held as a commemorative event of the partnership between Japanese Racing Association and Arlington Park Race Track. However, the presentation ceremony was cancelled due to COVID-19 and the use of the VIP room is uncertain still now.
We would like to express our sincere regret to all the members who were looking forward to the event, but we would appreciate your understanding. It seems that this difficult situation will continue, but we sincerely wish your health and safety.

JASO’s event was cancelled, but “Arlington Cup Horse Race” is scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 17th.

さて、昨年より延期とさせていただいておりました「春のフィールドトリップ」につきまして、次の通り開催の中止を決定させていただくことになりましたので、皆様にお知らせいたします。
現在、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大は一向に収まる気配を見せず、政府からは感染拡大防止のため緊急事態宣言が発令されております。このような状況の中、開催をめぐり関係者にて検討してまいりましたが、先ずは皆様の安全を確保することを最優先に、この度苦渋の決断をさせていただきました。ご来場を楽しみにしてくださっていた会員の皆様には、誠に残念なお知らせとなりますが何卒ご理解のほどお願い申し上げます。

Cancellation of The Spring Field Trip
We hope this message finds you well. We are very grateful to you for your continued support of JASO.
We herewith inform you that we have decided to cancel “The Spring Field Trip” which has been postponed since last year.
Currently, the pandemic of COVID-19 shows no signs of fading and the government issued a state of emergency to prevent the spread of the infection. Under these circumstances, we have made this tough decision with the highest priority on ensuring the safety of everyone after careful consideration of holding the event. We would like to express our sincere regret to all the members who were looking forward to the visit, but we would appreciate your understanding.
It seems that this difficult situation will continue, but we sincerely wish your health and safety.
